The Henryetta Middle School girls tennis team swept through McAlester Tuesday winning all but one singles contest and taking the three doubles matches.
On the boys’ side, HMS tennis players won four out of eight singles and two of the three doubles matches.
Winning in the singles competition were Bailey Davis 8-6, Ava Gold 8-4, Alexis Nicdzialkowski 8-0, Skylar Thomas 8-7, Madison Fry 8-6 and Regan Runyan 8-4. Tamra Smith lost her singles match 7-8.
In doubles, Davis and Leflore won 8-7 followed by Nicdzialkowski and Rivas 8-2 and Fry and garcia 8-4.
HMS boys winners in singles were Blake Nash 8-4, Phillip Fisher 8-6, John Ritter 8-2 and Josh Osterdock 8-0. Austen macaluso lost his singles match 3-8, Grant Holder lost 0-8, Jose Perez lost 3-8 and 1-8.
The two HMS doubles wins went to Holder and Dodson 8-2 and Fisher and Rock 8-2. The team of Macaluso and Wiliams lost out 7-8.
