Junior Lee Smith, a resident of Tulsa, formerly of Henryetta, died March 17, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 79. He was born May 2, 1937 in Ryal to Fred Anderson Smith and Mayola (Huff) Smith.
Junior married Jennie Lay Sept. 13, 1957 in Henryetta.
Junior is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jennie Smith of the home; two daughters: Vickie Marks and husband Don of Sand Springs and Dorinda Shatwell and husband David of Okemah; grandsons: Cody Marks and wife Amanda of Sand Springs, Casey Marks and wife Marlana of Tulsa, Jason Marks and wife Sarah of Tulsa, Jared Marks and wife Audrey of Spokane, Washington, and Jonathan Shatwell of Okemah; seven grandchildren: Caden Marks, Kye Marks, Addison Marks, Macy Marks, Cameron Marks, Ava Marks, and Mason Marks; sister, Wilma Henderson and husband Harold of Graham; brother, Don Smith and wife Paula of Dewar; brother-in-law, Lewis Walters of Graham, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2017 and Monday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the United Pentecostal Church in Broken Arrow (1730 N 9th St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012) with Pastor Aaron Dunn, officiating, assisted by Junior's grandsons. Committal services will be at 4 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
