Young golfers will have the opportunity to learn the game and those wannabe  professionals can sharpen their skills as the Henryetta junior golf summer camp starts.
Now in it’s third year, the free camp will start each Tuesday and Thursday June 6 and run through June 29.golf1
Coach Dutch VandenBorn will be working with kids from 12 and under through those 16 to 17 years old.
He said sessions will begin at 1 p.m. for ages 12 and under, at 2 p.m. for 13 through 15 years old and 3 p.m. for the 16 and 17 year old golfers.
“We will focus on the fundamentals of golf from the short game to the long game,” he said. “This will give the kids all the tools they need to improve their game.”

Golf clubs will be provided if a child needs them.
The golf course also has a special summer rate for youngsters who want to play and use the skills they learn at the camp. The green fee is $7 or they can get a summer membership is $150 for June July and August giving unlimited play for juniors.
