Pauline C. Martin, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died May 1, 2017 in Henryetta at the age of 96. She was born Jan. 5, 1921 in Henryetta to John E. Shepherd and Emma (Gipson) Shepherd. Pauline married Robert M. "Bob" Martin April 1, 1941 in Henryetta. At one time Pauline worked as a provider/caregiver for DHS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob Martin, a son, Robert Lee "Bobby" Martin, two sisters, Pearlie Fowler and Ruby Kanada, four brothers, Lester Shepherd, James O. Shepherd, Munroe Shepherd, and W. D. Shepherd.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Martindale of Henryetta; two sons: Jack Martin of Bartlesville and David Martin and special friend Jan Kennedy-Whipple of Edmond; nine grandchildren, Randy Martin of Great Bend, Kansas, Patty Dowell and husband Randy of Round Rock, Tex., Matthew Duke and wife Sherri of Henryetta, Tiffany Moore of Norman, Jackie Robert Martin and wife Melissa of Skiatook, Suzanne Martin of Bartlesville, Joseph Martin and wife Cheryl of Bartlesville, Joshua Martin and wife Dr. Amanda Martin of Edmond and Amber Flansbury and husband Kalen of Edmond; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; also a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
