Warren Road was blocked for several hours Tuesday afternoon when a telephone pole was pulled nearly to the ground.
City officials said the accident happened around noon when a vehicle struck the pole sending some telephone and cable television lines flying.
The accident caused the pole to lean precariously across Warren road with broken lines on the ground at the intersection as well as lining the side of the roadway.
No one was said to have been injured in the mishap.
