Henryetta high school was one point away from a pair of first place trophies at the Perry 4A invitational tennis tournament.

In the number 1 girls singles, Shelby Gaddy won her opening match then lost to Riverfield to go to the third place playoff against Anadarko. She lost that contest 1,2.
Eli Palmer won his opening boys number 1 singles match against Tecumseh then lost to Riverfield 0,1. He lost out in the third place match.
The number 2 boys singles contest saw Eric Dwiggins win his opener then lost to Riverfield and eventually losing to Pauls Valley in the third place bracket.
In the number 1 doubles side, Kade Bailey and Matt Wieberdink won their first two matches but lost out to Chisholm in the finals.
A day-long deluge Monday washed out the HHS appearance at the Bixby team tournament. They take to the courts again March 24 at Okmulgee. Their first home series will be March 31 with Seminole.
