George Michael “Mike” Denton, a resident of Oklahoma City, died June 22, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 70. He was born Aug. 19, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Chester and Alice (Sternes) Denton.
His parents precede him in death.
Mike worked for Keystone Steel for 20 years in Peoria,  Circor for 25 years in OKC and after retiring he was an courtesy driver for Eskridge Honda.
He is survived by his wife Linda Denton of the home; aughter: Djuana Denton and Tommy Britt of Okemah; son: Quentin Denton and Laura of Port Huron, MI; grandsons: Austin and Kaitlyn Britt of Henryetta, Kyle Britt of Okemah, Kalab Silva of Norman, Logan Britt of Okemah, Tanner Britt of Okemah, Micah Denton of Bethel, Samantha Johnson, Meagan Johnson and Jacob Quigley of Poert Huron, MI; great grandchildren: Brent, Lilly, Michael and Conner of Port Huron; sister: Becky and Chet Harper of Sapulpa; nieces: Katrina Stevens and Shain of Sapula and Stephanie Greenfeather and Terry of Sapulpa; best friend: Mike Davoult of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 28 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at 1:00pm. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
