Floyd Moore, a resident of Nicoma Park, died July 7, 2017 in Midwest City at the age of 77. He was born Oct. 14, 1939 in Allen to Henry Moore and Edna (West) Moore.
Floyd was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Army. He worked for many years as a cross country trucker. He married Scharlene Tilley May 4, 1995 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Midwest City.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Lisa Moore, two brothers-in-law, Arlie Smith and Edward Smith, a niece, Rejeanna Wentworth, and a nephew, Kevin Smith.
Floyd is survived by his wife Scharlene of the home; step-daughter, Kari J. Tilley of the home; brother, Jim Moore of Del City; five sisters-in-law: Jean Reno and husband Lloyd of Nicoma Park, Joann Smith of Nicoma Park, Charla Smith of Dewar, Frances Smith of Henryetta and Elaine Cates of Greenville, Texas; niece, Cynthia Moore of Del City; nephew, Kevin Moore; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Floyd will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Mark Eldridge and Rev. William Monden officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
