Some 40 area youngsters spent three days honing their athletic skills and also learning how to be better citizens. The grade-school-aged boys and girls were part of the Life Skills and Athletics camp taught by former coach Ken Heupel and a cadre of nearly a dozen professional and collegiate coaches. Held at the Henryetta track, the students spent equal amounts of time visiting with the coaches to improve their self discipline in everything from posture to how to work with others. This is the fourth year for the camp. The camp staff were the guests of honor three nights at dinners held by the chamber of commerce, Church of Christ and Methodist Church.
