Harry Fernand Poivre, also know as "Fritz" or "Pepper", died July 23, 2017 in Henryetta at the age of 86. He was born May 11, 1951 in Lancaster, Ohio to Carl John Poivre and Mary (Motts) Poivre. He was retired from Northrup-Gruman Aircraft assembly and Manufacturing in California which made the F-16, he also worked as a dental technician, and before moving to California he worked for PPG Industries in Henryetta.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Billie (Williams) Poivre, his second wife, Rose Poivre, a daughter, Mary Henley, also by one brother, Carl J. Poivre, Jr.
He is survived by one brother, E. J. Poivre of Ozark, Missouri; son, Ken Poivre of Florida; two nieces, Kathy McGuire of Goddard, Kans., and Jamie Johnson of Katy, Tex.; nephew, Tommy (Pepper) Poivre of Iowa Park, Tex.; granddaughters, Danielle Poivre, Marissa Henley, Stephanie Henley Wilkerson, Dawn Frood, Aimee Deckard, Joanne Markovich, and Jennifer Moseley; close cousin, Suzette Poivre Dial; special friends Jerry and Pat Henley of Henryetta; also several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
