Henryetta police were busy Wednesday morning helping agents from the federal Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) search for a wanted felon.
cops atfATF personnel started at Nichols Park early in the morning then came to two homes in town looking for a person wanted on several federal warrants.
The officers interviewed several residents then went to a home on the Okmulgee-Okfuskee County line where another house was searched.
The wanted individual surrendered later in the day to ATF officers in another part of the county.
Henryetta police chief Steve Norman said at no time were local residents in danger.
