The day after the beach volleyball courts were placed, teams were set up and play started. The new attraction at Nichols has gained a lot of favor among some of the young athletes and would-be Olympiads. City crews were busy Thursday placing the gravel that will form the bed for the new rest room facility near the beach house. No word was given when it would be in operation.
