Okmulgee County sheriff’s deputies are looking for Justin Kyle Lee Burney in connection with several trailer thefts during recent days.
Justin BurneyBurney, 27, is described as a white mail, 6 feet, two inches tall, 170 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. According to Sheriff’s investigator Duston Todd, Burney has a spider web tattoo on his throat. He is being called a person of interest and investigators want to speak with him.
He is alleged to be involved in the theft of a stock trailer from a home south of Wilson early Sunday morning. A short time before that theft, an attempt was made to steal a trailer from Wilson school. When the thieves tried to drive off with the trailer, it became disconnected from the truck and was abandoned.
The sheriff’s department provided two surveillance video clips from the thefts. One shows the Wilson school attempt and the other showing two vehicles hooking up a trailer at Hoffman. In both clips, a Chevrolet pickup can be seen driving up ot the trailers accompanied by a dark-colored SUV.
