Anyone thinking about starting up their own business can get some help from the ground up.
greencountrylogoThe Small Business Services at Green Country Technology Center is going to hold a seven-week course called, “Start Up 101.”
Margaret Hess, Business Development specialist, said the series will give potential business owners an opportunity to receive assistance in launching or refining their new business. Graduates also have access to free or discounted business resources from participating partners.
The skills to be taught include setting business goals, ability to act on business opportunities, develop their market, setting up business plans and make effective business presentations.
Start Up 101 will be held weekly on Monday evenings, September 11, 2017 - October 23, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Green Country Technology Center Campus in Okmulgee. Tuition is $150.
