Kentucky native Brittany Howard, Miss Rodeo USA 2017, will be one of the featured celebrities at the Living Legends Rodeo this weekend in Henryetta.
howard brittany origHoward, who received the crown in January, will be visiting with the public and signing autographs during the two-night rodeo event Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3.
The reigning queen received a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture degree in 2014 and became a board certified Licensed Veterinary Technologist in Kentucky.
She will be visiting with Henryetta and Dewar elementary students Thursday to promote the rodeo as well as talk with them about her love for animals and rodeo.
Also featured at the 24th Living Legends Rodeo will be Jason Farley.
A native of Evening Shade, Ark., his performance at the 2013 International Finals Rodeo was named the champion comedy act.

Chamber members will be selling tickets for a Henry .357 magnum carbine that will be given away at the Sunday night performance. Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Funds raised will support the Main Street Cowboy Park.
The rodeo will start at 8 Saturday and Sunday nights. Advance discount tickets are available at: Paul's Western Store, Jiffy Mart, Coalton Shavings and Feed, and Hiatt Windows and Glass.
The tickets will also be sold at the gate each night.
