After two days of receiving donations, Rev. and Mrs. Michael VanMeter filled up a U-Haul truck and went to Victoria, Texas to help hurricane victims.
The original plan was to get a stock trailer filled but the generosity of Henryetta area residents quickly made it apparent a larger vehicle would be necessary. Included in the stocks of supplies were foods, drinks, dog food, personal hygiene items and clothing.
Those items were taken to Victoria where members of the church there started the process of distribution to the people whose homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged by the hurricane.
