The new, all steel fishing dock for Nichols Park arrived Friday morning. Workers from the Union Sportsmen Alliance will be on hand Sept. 30 to install it as well as re-roof the shelter house and add some grills and picnic tables to the park. The dock was brought in three pieces by Northwest Crane Services. According to Curtis Chambers, a member of Operating Engineers, the Alliance, composed of union members, appreciated Henreytta for its Labor Day celebration recognizing the role of unions in the state. He said some 30 to 40 people will be coming to town and any volunteers from the community that want to help will be welcomed. Helping him with the dock were Winston Noah and Anthony Zinn from Northwest Crane.
