Celia Claudene Hardin, a former resident of Henryetta and current resident of Del City, died Sept. 30, 2017 at her home in Del City at the age of 86. Celia was born June 9, 1931 in Plainview, Okla., to Alfred Andrew Hardin and Katie Essman Hardin.
She grew up in Bryant and later graduated from Bryant High School. Following her education, Celia worked at a bakery in Henryetta and later moved to Arlington, Texas where she remained involved in the bakery business. Celia spent several years of her life working as a civilian government employee in Washington DC. She later worked at Tinker Air Force Base, where she retired with over 30 years of faithful service. Celia was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and eight brothers. She is survived by two brothers, Dudley Hardin and wife Ramona of Bixby, and Joe Hardin and wife Frankie of Yelm, Washington; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and many good friends.
Following cremation, a service will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
