A large limb from one of the nearly 100-year-old trees along Lake Road by Coal Creek fell Sunday afternoon. The limb did not strike any cars but blocked the roadway for about 30 minutes until it could be cut down. Police said it appeared the limb broke because of damage from previous wind storms.
