The lawn in front of Henreytta Elementary took on a new look Saturday morning.
A group of volunteers worked with representatives from Lowes to set up a flower arrangement that will be seen by the children when they return to class Tuesday morning.
The volunteers removed the grass from the outlined letters and filled them with potting soil. Students will be planting flowers next spring inside the letters to give the school ground a bright and colorful look.
Outlining the letters are river rocks with a stone border.
