Henryetta schools will be dedicating the baseball hitting facility to Nathan George at 2 p.m. It will be called the Nathan George Henryetta Baseball Facility.
The late HHS Knight athlete was a victim of Burkitts Lymphoma and battled the disease until his death march 29, 2017.
The son of William and Robin George will be remembered through a proclamation designating Nov. 19 (his birthday) as Nathan George Day in Henryetta. That proclamation will be signed and read by mayor Jennifer Clason as part of the ceremonies.
The public is invited to attend the event at the baseball field.
