Henryetta and Beggs voters have until April 1 to apply for absentee ballots for the April 7 municipal election.
County election board secretary Ava Ridgeway said voters may apply in person at her office in the court house or send in Absentee Applications by mail, fax or email.  "The application can be downloaded from the State Election Board web site or picked up in our office," she added.
Completed absentee applications must be in the hands of the County Election Board no later than 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 1 in order for them to be processed and ballots mailed out to voters that day. Voted ballots must be returned by mail, UPS or FedEx not later than 7 p.m. election day to be counted.
