“Nevyle is highly respected in our company, our community, and our industry and has helped us create a strong institution that is dedicated to serving our customers, employees and shareholders,” said First National Fred Harlan, Chairman of the Board. “His banking and financial expertise have been instrumental to FNB’s success. On behalf of the board of directors, the officers and employees I want to express our sincere appreciation to Nevyle for the leadership and guidance that he provided during his 27 years of dedicated service. We wish him the best.” In conjunction, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of Kyle Powell to President and CEO effective January 2, 2018. Powell earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Oklahoma and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He has been with FNB since 2000. Powell is married to Sherri Powell, who is the Campus Director of the Okmulgee Baptist Village.
“As we look to the future, the board is confident that Kyle’s leadership, experience and business insight will serve him well as our President and CEO,” Harlan said.
“I am delighted that the board has chosen Kyle as my successor,” Cable said. “Early on in my decision to retire, the Board made a commitment to deliver a seamless and well-planned CEO transition. Kyle brings a continuity of strategy, culture and values shared by the entire board and senior executive team. Under his leadership, FNB will continue to meet the needs of our customers and remain an employer of choice for over 80 employees. I am extremely confident in the future of FNB.”
