Robert Johnny Patterson, a resident of Henryetta, died Dec. 12, 2017 in Henryetta at the age of 74. He was born Dec. 4, 1943 in Coalton to Woodrow Patterson and Mary (Schalski).
He was a Vietnam veteran serving served in the US Army and a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John David Patterson, sister, Mary Patterson, and sister, Kathy.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jackie Patterson of the home; two sons: Tony Patterson and wife Ashley of Schulter and Joe Patterson of the home; daughter, Shannon Buchanan and husband Daniel of Schulter; grandchildren: John Dillon Patterson, Hunter Patterson, Zain Williams, Destiny Patterson, Desiray Patterson, Robert Patterson, Aidan Hamm, and Nicona Buchanan; great grandchild, Ryker Ingram; four brothers: James Patterson of Wainright, Johnny Patterson of Chickasha, Thomas Patterson of Okmulgee, and Brian Patterson of Drumright; three sisters: Joyce Patterson of Henryetta, Sue Farned of Okmulgee, and Tereasa Frair of Dustin, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 and Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 12 to 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at Council Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
