A search ended at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning is underway for 54-year-old Leona Hill. According to the sheriff's office, she had made it to her home and was in good health.
Okmulgee County Sheriff’s officers say they were called to a home near Henryetta around 1:30 Tuesday morning when Hill failed to return to a friend’s house.
She was said to have called the Henryetta police department shortly after midnight asking for directions from Bryant to Henryetta. A cell phone ping indicated she was in the general vicinity of Bryant. She also told the Henryetta dispatchers she could see the Bryant Baptist Church.
bryant churchOfficers say she was last seen wearing a camo jacket, hat and pants. Searchers have enlisted the help of Burlington Northern railway, Okmulgee County Emergency Management and others in the search.
