Loren Edison "Lee" East, Jr., a resident of Tulsa, died Jan. 12, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 77. He was born Sept. 2, 1940 in Sand Springs to Loren Edison East, Sr. and Ollie (Condray) East. He was a graduate of Dewar High School Class of 1958 and attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loren E. East, Sr. and Ollie East, one brother, Calvin East and two sisters, Helen June Edwards and Thela Louvierre.
He is survived by his companion of 21 years, Georgiann McClure of the home; three daughters: Karen Vaughn of Gainesville, Tex., Rose Conkwright and husband Robert of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Stacey Kelley and husband Kiley of Kellyville; six grandchildren: Jeffrey Conkwright and wife Allison of Ft. Worth, Micah Medlock and wife Becca of Ada, Aaron Medlock and Mary Vergano of Saginaw, Tex., K. C. Kelley of Henryetta, Lacey Henson and fiance' John Freeman of Broken Arrow and Kyle Kelley and Alexis Morann of Henryetta; five great grandchildren: Sarenna Henson, Lilleth Henson, Rylee Medlock, Andrew Medlock and Tessa Medlock; brother, John William East and wife Deloris of Eufaula; sister, Norma Canfield of Tulsa; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2 p.m. at ClareHouse, 7617 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK 74133. Interment of ashes will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.
