Sherral Dean Counts, a resident of Muskogee, died Feb. 6, 2018 in Muskogee at the age of 76. She was born April 14, 1941 in Henryetta to Frank Lee Boatright and Ophelia (Wallen) Boatright. Sherral was raised in Henryetta and attended Henryetta Public Schools. She went on and attended college and received her Licensed Practical Nurses license as well as additional nursing college hours. She retired from Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Henryetta and also the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ophelia Boatright.
She is survived by two daughters: Eugenia Griffin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Samantha Henderson of Muskogee; four grandchildren: Amirah Counts of Boulder, Colo., Russell Henderson, Jr. of Wainwright, Rusty Henderson of Muskogee and Patrick Griffin of Colorado Springs; three great-great grandchildren: Jaiden Counts of Boulder, Alli Henderson of Wainwright and Aubrie Henderson of Wainwright;
four sisters: Dawna Chapman and husband Earl of Dewar, Metta McGee of Dewar, Floy Ray of Delaware and Doris Boatright of Morris; brother, Clay Boatright and wife Debbie of Dewar; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Sherral will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 8 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Richard Chapman, Frank McGee, Travis McGee, Rusty Henderson, Amirah Counts, and Patrick Griffin.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2018 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Steve Moss, pastor of Boulevard Christian Church in Muskogee, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
