lady dragons

For the first time since 1993, the Dewar Lady Dragons will be playing for a basketball state championship.
Monday night, the Lady Dragons went overtime to defeat Glencoe 63-57 at Cleveland. The two teams were tied up 57-all at the end of regulation play then the dragons dropped in the final six for the area championship.
That will pit them against the Seiling Wildcats Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the State Fair Arena.
Seiling has a perfect record so far this year.
If Dewar wins that opening game, they will play the winner of the Okarche-Cyril game Friday at 1:30.
The Class A state championship will be at 1:45 Saturday.
