A two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon claimed the life of a six-year-old Okmulgee child and injured five other people in the same vehicle.
They were passengers in a 2004 Ford Free Star driven by Cynthia Watkins, 25, Okmulgee.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the US 75 off ramp at SH 16 east of Beggs around 1:52 Friday.
Trooper Brian Costanza said the Ford was northbound on the off ramp when it collided with a 2011 Ford pickup driven by a 17-year-old from Beggs that was going east on SH 16.

Watkins, along with 32-year-old Cody Watkins and three other children were treated for injuries. They were treated for various injuries at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. One was listed in critical condition and another listed as stable.
The driver of the truck, along with four other passengers refused treatment on the scene for minor injuries.
Trooper Costanza said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
