The HHS Knights have three weightlifters going to state this Saturday.
Dylan Bain, Kobe Johnson and Jordan Proctor will be representing Henryetta at state in El Reno following successful lifts this past week. It is the second time for a state title attempt by both Proctor and Johnson.
Johnson and Proctor both placed third in their classes with Johnson lifting a total of 810 pounds and Proctor recording 1075. Bain had a total of 780 pounds during the day.
Weston Thomas, Cameron Slyconish and Austin Gouge also represented Henryetta and recorded person bests but were unable to get into the state qualifying rounds.
“This was a great effort by all lifters,” said coach Darrin Johnson. “We are extremely proud of all of them.”
