A pair of hits to center field and one that kicked off the pitcher's glove started the Henryetta Dirtbags to a 4-1 win Monday night. Henryetta was hosting Regency Preparatory from Tulsa in the Dirtbags' first home game in a week. Both teams were scoreless in the first two innings then the HHS nine came to bat in the third. Hunter Thomas started things off with a double to right field. He scored on a center field slam by Cade Furer. Brannon Murphy walked to first then D.J. Jones loaded the bases when he hit his third pitch back at the Regent pitcher, knocking his glove off allowing the ball to drop just off the mound. | |
Kiley Johnson slapped the ball to center driving in Furer and Murphy. |
