The Henryetta eighth grade girls and seventh grade boys captured second place overall honors at their very soggy and cold track meet March 27.
The girls posted first place honors in the 3200 meter relay, spring medley, 1600 meter relay, shot put and discus. They won third in the 800 meter relay.
Making up the 3200, 1600 and 800 meter relay teams are: Jalynn Joslin, Alyssa Collett, Kaylee Watson, Katelyn Dwiggins.
Chelsea Harjo was first and Aggie Gillin placed fourth in the shot put. Harjo also took first and Gillin was second in the discus.
The eighth grade boys had Alex Hudson finish first in high jump and pole vault and second in the long jump. Alex Hudson was first in the high jump and second in the long jump while James Martin captured fourth in both events. Martin also was the first place winner of the pole vault.
Seventh grade boys had first in the 3200 meter relay and second in both the 800 and 400 meter relay events. Relay members are Jack Caywood, Blake Wynn, Ethan Goodner and Jordan Short.
That same team was second in the mid-distance medley. Andrew Walker was fourth in the long jump.
