Yolanda Ann Otero, a resident of Weleetka, died April 8, 2018 in Norman at the age of 62. She was born April 22, 1955 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ceaser King & Beulah Mae (Simms) King.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also by three sisters, Sharon Clark, Wynona Simms and Kay Freeland.
Yolanda is survived by her husband, Matthew John Otero of Florida; four daughters: Maggie Osceola of Florida, Rita Otero of Florida, Megan Otero of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sawena Otero of Weleetka; son, Heath Otero of Florida; 18 grandchildren; sister, Peggy Rains of Purcell; one brother, Yahola Simms of California, as well as a host of other relatives.
A wake service will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church in Okmulgee.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church in Okmulgee. Interment will follow at the Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
