So far 2018 is a good year for Henryetta sales taxes.
Since January, the town has received $870,586 in sales taxes returned from the state. That is a gain of $33,761 over the same period a year ago.
The latest return was $213,626 for April, up $7,287 over the $206,338 last April.
City officials are hoping the increased sales tax revenue continues. In 2017, the town had a decline in sales tax receipts in ten of the 12 months from January through December.
The use tax return also showed a slight gain, up $2,300 from last year.
