Henryetta will be operating on just over three-quarters of a million dollars less than last year.
That is the projection in the preliminary budget released by the city this week.
Council members are estimating total revenues in the 2018-2019 fiscal year will amount to $13,920,075. That is less than the $14,746,747 budgeted a year ago.
To make up for that difference, the city is planning to spend $1,224,364 less, the bulk of that, $1,240,554, coming from water department expenses.
A special meeting will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. at city hall to allow council members to go over the figures and make changes. That meeting is open to the public for local comments as well.
