Tuesday is going to be election day but voters can cast their ballots early.
The Okmulgee County election board office will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 21 and June 22 then Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ballots will be available for republican, democrat and independent voters will be receiving ballots for the June 26 primary election.
In addition to the federal and state slate of officers, democrat voters in the Henryetta and Dewar areas will be deciding who their county commissioner will be. James Connors, the incumbent, and Millard Wayne Spears are running for the district 3 seat.
The controversial state question 788 will be voted on by all parties.
That deals with the legalization of marijuana in Oklahoma for medicinal purposes.
All voters must provide proof of identity, either a drivers license, valid photo ID or voter identification card, in order to cast their ballots.
