Helen L. Griffith, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died July 18, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 73. She was born April 30, 1945 in Henryetta to Isaac (Ike) Kellogg and Goldie (Newton) Kellogg. Helen was a graduate of Henryetta High School class of 1963. She later attended college earning a degree in accounting. She retired from Anchor glass from the accounting department and later worked and retired from Country Style Home Health in the accounting and billing department. She was a member of the Henryetta Church of the Nazarene.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Teresa Griffith and a son, Todd Griffith and a granddaughter, Rachel Lynn Davis. Also by three brothers, Seth Kellogg, Truman Kellogg and Isaac Kellogg, three sisters, Mildred Smith, Lucille VanMeter and Charlotte Greenwood.
She is survived by a son, Travis Griffith and wife Deborah of Henryetta; a daughter, Tara Davis and husband Jeremy of Henryetta; a granddaughter whom she raised, Ashley Griffith and Darren Rock of Henryetta; six grandchildren: Joshua Griffith of Pryor; Bailey, Katie, and Allie Davis all of Henryetta; Amber Franklin and husband Tyler of Okmulgee; Kristal Jones and Danny Hoover of Henryetta; eight great-grandchildren: Madison Rock, Alexis Rock and Kael Rock all of Henryetta; Raigen Randall of Henryetta; Decklan Potter of Okmulgee; Everett Franklin of Okmulgee; Gannon Jones of Henryetta; and Brayden Hoover of Henryetta; sister, Wilda Gulley and husband George of Wilson; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Griffith, Don Raby, Robert Greenwood, Jeremy Raby, Austin Gouge, and Phillip Black. Honorary pallbearers will be Kael Rock, George Gulley, Sr., Audie Cole, David Smith, Kenneth VanMeter, and Bobby Smock.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 24th at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
