No matter how much technology has changed, students still have a need for paper and pencils in the classroom.
The Henryetta Church of the Nazarene is trying to fill that need with a "Paper and Pencil Drive," now through Aug. 15
According to Janette Cole, Nazarene pastor's wife, the church is trying to get 2,000 reams of paper and 2,000 pencils. Those will be given out to area schools once classes start.
Anyone wishing to donate can bring their pencils and paper by the church office at 109 N. 8th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Donations can also be made at the church each Wednesday at 7 p.m. or at 10:30 a.m. Sundays.
