Darla Jo Stockton, a resident of Mulberry, Ark., died July 24, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Ark., at the age of 69. She was born Sept. 8, 1948 in Hobart to Bobbie Joe Bay and Bertha Joan (Peet) Bay. Darla graduated nursing school with a nursing degree as a licensed practical nurse. She worked as an LPN at the Spiro Nursing Home. She was a member of the Mulberry Pentecostal Church of God.
Darla is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Joan Bay, her husband Bobby Wayne Stockton, a sister, Pansy Phillips and a great grandchild.
She is survived by a son, James Stockton and wife Traci of Stillwell; a daughter, Mary Darlene Stockton of Muskogee; a son, Bobby Dale Stockton of Panama; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three brothers: Paul Bay of Rock Island, Oklahoma; Randy Bay and wife Sharon of Beaux Bridge, Louisiana; Gene Bay and wife Debbie of Spiro; two sisters: Cathy Brown and husband Jim of Mulberry, Susie Strauss and husband James of Shawnee; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
A service of remembrance will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 27 at the Mulberry Revival Center at 25 West 5th Street, Mulberry, Arkansas.
Arrangements were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service, 410 E. Trudgeon St., Henryetta, Oklahoma.
