The Lady Knight track team took home first place honors at the Burl Moore Black Gold Relays held here Thursday.
Henryetta's girls finished three points ahead of the Wagoner team in the overall point standings with seven first place victories during the day. The Henryetta boys track team came in fourth behind Okemah, OCS and Metro Christian.
HHS senior Mykaela Wallace won top honors in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles. Teammate Shelby Bullard was third in the 300 meter hurdles.
The day-long event saw the lady Knights' first time pole vaulting entrant, Brittany Elam provide overall points in that competition. She vaulted eight feet for second place, just two feet below the ten feet posted by Okemah.
In discus throwing, Montgomery Notley had a 102 foot, seven inch throw for first place. That was nearly four feet ahead of second place.
Notley also came in second in the shot put with a 30 feet, five and one half inch toss. That was just under 17 inches out of first place.
Caprice Graham had a four foot, six inch high jump that tied her in second place with OCS.
In the running events, Daisy Vanmeter was first in the 1500 meter run. The Henryetta relay team finished first in the 800 and 3200 meter runs and distance medley and third in the 400 and 1600 meter relays.
In the boys events, Henryetta was second in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter relays and third in the distance medley.
