The 2018 cross country season opened Saturday with the Knights high school and middle school going to Holdenville.
Henryetta was unable to place any higher than 10th in the boys 3200 meters with the Lady Knights getting a 15th place best in the girls 1600 meters.
HHS runner Keaton Lollis had a time of 12:54 for 10th place followed by Austin Green with 13:05 for 15th and Garret Witt posting a 15:39 for 54th place.
Bayleigh Nye ran the 1600 meters in 7:22 that gave her 15th. She was followed by Cheyenne Thomas with 8:25, Emily Stockolm with 8:34 and Kaylee Watson finishing in 8:49.
In the junior high 1600 meters, Ethan Goodner had 6:42 for ninth place followed by Jordan Short with 6:54, Wyatt Coy with a time of 7:17 and Zack Mullen with 7:45.
HMS girls saw Joslin Stidman finish fifth with 7:31 while teammate Raychel Morris finished 12th with 8:09.
Henryetta will be going to Seminole this Saturday.
