The grant would be from the Health Resources Servicees Administration through the federal Health and Human Resources.
EOFHC headquarters is in Wetumka in a building that opened in 2012.
At the Monday morning meeting of the Henryetta Economic Development Authority (HEDA) it was announced the health care operation would be looking at three lots on the Shurden-Leist site.
To help with that project, the city is working with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality and EPA to get a certificate of completion that the site is safe for operations.
City manager Ted Graham pointed out Certificate of Completion had never been finished even though the site remediated some 14 years ago.
"I want to put to bed the rumors of existing contamination," Graham said. He pointed out that some earlier records on the work cannot be found. He added the city has more complete records than DEQ.
