The HHS boys cross country team placed fifth at Seminole Saturday while the HMS boys team nailed down a fourth place position.
For the Knight runners, Keaton Lollis completed the two mile course in 12:41.6 that gave him third place. The winner from Clayton high school took first in 11 minutes flat.
Behind Lollis was Austin Green in 19th, Riley Floyd, 54th, Grant Holder, 55th, Isaac Matlock, 60th and Sam Crow, 87th place.
The HHS girls had Alyssa Collett run the mile in 7:14.9, just about a minute behind the winner form Holdenville. Her teammates wound up with Cheyanne Thomas placing 54th and Emily Stockholm 56th.
In the middle school effort, Jack Caywood was eighth followed by Ethan Goodner, 20th, Jordan Short, 32nd and Zackary Mullin, 67th.
