Richard Lee Taylor, a resident of Broken Arrow, died Oct. 1, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born Oct. 23, 1932 in the Wilson Community to Loyal and Cora (McManus) Taylor. Richard served with the US Coast Guard. He worked construction as a building supervisor and then for Braums supervising the construction of their stores. He married Shirley Wright on December 29, 2000 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Daughter Candice Taylor and a sister Bernice Rozell.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; sons: Richard Taylor and wife Susan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Randy Kaler and wife Kim of Basalt, Colo.; daughters: Tammy Munstin of Streeter,Ill., and Belinda Eskridge and husband Scott of Broken Arrow; grandchildren: Benjaman Kaler, Richard Kaler, Stephaine Pippin, Shannon Williams, Adrian Mustin, Hailee Goossen and husband Alex, Makenzie Eskridge and Breanna Kaler; 13 Great Grandhildren
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
