Oklahoma candidate for governor, Kevin Stitt met with around 75 supporters Monday afternoon in Okmulgee. During the luncheon meeting at the Covington Aircraft hangar and the Okmulgee airport, Stitt, a republican, told the group that he is running as an ou tsider with no political background. His opponent, democrat Drew Edmondson was contacted later and said he has no plans to visit the county before the Nov. 6 election.
