William Harold "Harry" Ellerbe, a resident of Tulsa, died Nov. 4, 2018 in Dallas Tex., at the age of 54. Harry was born Sept. 11, 1964 in Mountain View, Calif., to Wilbur Ellerbe and Kaye Ellerbe. Harry lived for several years in California and later in Virginia Beach. He moved with his family to the Wilburton area.
He served in the U.S. Army for several years before his honorable discharge. Harry loved fishing, working on cars, and tinkering in the garage. He was a welder/pipefitter by trade and he was devoted to his job. Harry married the love of his life, Janet Kallos on July 15, 2006 in Eureka Springs, Arakansas. Harry and Janet remained happily married for 12 years prior to his death. He is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Ellerbe and a sister, Katherine Crabtree.
Harry is survived by his wife, Janet Ellerbe of the home; his mother, Kay Ellerbe of Henryetta; a daughter, Sarah Rogers and husband Josh of Sugar Creek, Kans.; two sons: Timothy Ellerbe of Lenexa, Kans., and Nicholas Ellerbe of Indiana; step-daughter, Kirsten Slaughter and wife Cody of Broken Arrow; two step-sons: Timothy Clark of Tulsa and Brandon Clark of Owasso; ten grandchildren; a brother, Dale Ellerbe of Kansas; two sisters: Carol Robb of Dallas and Patsy Bowden and husband Troy of Stigler; several nieces and nephews; by other extended family and many good friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson. Service arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
