There was a time that coal was king in Henryetta and the area.
That history will be honored Saturday night as the Henryetta Historical Society hosts the annual Founders Day dinner.
Set at 6 p.m. at the HHS cafeteria, the dinner will feature Dr. Gary Lindsey from Oklahoma Christian university. He will be talking about small mining towns and arcitectures.
Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased at the door.
