Powerful fourth and fifth innings sailed the HHS Lady Knights to a 17-2 win over the Mason Lady Eagles Friday night.
Coach Chris Ray had seen rain and wet fields make it impossible for Henryetta to get a game scheduled throughout most of the week but he wanted to give the girls some more play before districts starts next Thursday.

Henryetta started out with a 2-0 led in the first inning when Kamarie Wallace got a first inning single then scored on a double by Mykaela a few minutes later.
Mykaela crossed the plate as Kendall Perez nailed a long fly out with bases loaded.
Mason came back to pick up a two-out homer in the first inning to get on the board.
The Lady Knights moved to a 3-1 lead in the third when Alyssa Osterdock got a hit into the outfield then scored on a single by Haley Cook.
Mason's girls had their hopes raised in the bottom of the third with the bases loaded then a single to center scored one run. A second runner was trying to make it across the plate but HHS catcher Maddie James got the tag before she could score.
In the fourth inning, Hanna Gouge got a single then James walked. A hit by Maddie Gouge to shortstop had James tagged out but the Mason try for a double play wound up being overthrown at first allowing Hanna to score.
Maddie scored on a double by Kamarie Wallace that rolled to the outfield fence then Osterdock had an identical hit that scored Kamarie. She scored when Mykaela slammed the ball deep into the outfield.
Ally Flanary got a single to bring Mykaela home then Cook singled getting Flanary across home plate.
Leading 9-2 int he top of the fifth, it was another scoring attack with Henryetta picking up runs by Osterdock, Haanna Gouge, Kamarie Wallace, Flanary Perez and Bailee Powders.
