graham bomb

Graham-Dustin students got an early break from studies shortly before noon Thursday when a bomb threat was discovered.
The threat was found scrawled on a wall in the boys restroom by a custodian and reported to superintendent C.J.Buesser. He got all students away from the Graham campus then had them taken to the school site at Dustin. “We used buses from Weleetka to transport the children.”
Once students and teachers were evacuated, OkfuskeeCounty sheriff’s deputies secured the area. Bomb-sniffing dogs were called in from the OHP in Oklahoma City. They will go through all of the buildings as well as all vehicles at the school.

Parents were notified by the school’s text-messaging system. Students were released to the parents.
According to one source at the school, surveillance cameras are going to be reviewed to see if the person responsible can be identified.
