Two Henryettans were injured in a crash at the intersection of East Main and US 75 Sunday afternoon.
The car David and Penny Farley were in was hit broadside by a van driven by Ben Wade, Sulphur Springs, Tex. The Wade vehicle was southbound on US 75 when the collision happened.
According to Henryetta police, the force of the impact was so great that the fire department had to use the Jaws of Life to cut the husband and wife out of the car. He received numerous bruises and abrasions, She was taken to a Tulsa hospital with a broken hip and other injuries.
Wade was cited failure to obey a traffic control device.
This was the latest in a series of accidents have police have investigated at that intersection.
